Dress Code & Support

USCA Rules and Procedures outline the dress code requirements.  When teams compete, they need to adhere to the USCA dress code.

USCA Dress Code

 (as of 9/2010)

 

When teams compete, archers and member coaches must comply with the USCA Dress Code.  Prior to the first arrow shot, including official practice, archers in each IHL gender and division team may be required to report together to have their uniforms and equipment inspected. Archers/Teams not in compliance will be warned. If a warned archer is not in compliance at the time of the first scoring arrow or within a reasonable time provided by officials, each warned archer may lose all scoring arrows until s/he are in dress code compliance. If a team changes their uniform, each team member is required to be in compliance.

 

Any IHL team uniform identical in color and style components is allowed with the exception of denim or camouflage. An IHL team uniform must be identical for a gender and division. (*See note below regarding gender and division.) Sponsor shirts are allowed as long as the name of the club member or athlete’s school is clearly visible on either the front or the back as outlined.

 

Tears, holes, and/or rips in clothing are not permitted.

Vulgar/obscene pictures, language or words are not permitted.

Women must have 3” minimum shirt straps.

Men may not wear sleeveless shirts.

Shorts must be fingertip length or longer.

Shoes must cover the foot safely – sandals, flip-flops and high heels are not permitted.

The athletes must be easily identifiable with their respective university.

School names or logo must be either on the front or the back of the shirt and must be clearly

visible. A logo must be a minimum 2.5” by 3”.

Denim and/or camouflage are not permitted at any time.

 

 Dine' TeamUniforms may differ within a full team (i.e. the compound men must dress alike in color and style but that uniform may be different than the recurve men, compound women and recurve women).

Likewise, all team members may have the same uniforms if the team so chooses.           

 Longhorns

All team members dressed the same. Cowboy hats are optional.

Shoes adequately cover the feet.

 

 

06WUAC Cmpd WomenTeam Round - all three members of the team must be dressed the same shirts and the same color bottoms. Members are permitted to wear bottoms for their comfort level (i.e some team members may choose to wear shorts while others choose pants of the same color).

 

 

 

Style of Shoes and hats are personal

preference.

 

 

 

06WUACMixed teamMixed Team Round - the man and the woman must be dressed to be identified as the members of the same team. They do not have to have the exact same shirts, nor shorts/pants but both tops and bottoms must be of the same color for each team member and meet the requirement to have their school name or logo on the front or back of the shirt.

 

 

Team members may have a mix of shorts/skorts/pants for the women and shorts/pants for the men. Team members should dress to their comfort level as long as the color and style is the same.

 

 

CoachesCoaches must comply with the dress code during the event or stay behind the spectator line and in addition:

Should be identifiable to the team they represent.

Coach clothing does not have to be identical to the team’s uniforms.

Those who coach more than one team shall be identifiable to at least one of the teams.
